What to include
Reporting an incorrect result
This is the most useful message you can send. To let us reproduce it quickly, please include:
- The calculator you were using, or a link to the page;
- The exact values you entered;
- The result you got, and the result you expected;
- Your source, if you have one - a lender’s figure, a textbook, an IRS table.
Every calculator here is covered by unit tests, but tests only catch the cases we thought of. Real reports find the ones we missed.
Suggesting a calculator
Tell us what you were trying to work out and why the existing options did not help. We build tools that meet the standard on our About page, which means a smaller catalog that goes deeper - so a good case for a specific tool carries real weight.
Questions about our methods
Most are already answered on the methodology page, which lists the formula and source behind every calculator. If it is not covered there, ask and we will both answer you and improve the page.
Privacy requests
Send data access, correction, or deletion requests to the address above. Because we hold no accounts and no identifiers, there is usually nothing to retrieve - but we will confirm that in writing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give you personal financial, tax, legal, or medical advice, recommend a specific lender, product, or diet, or tell you what to do in your situation. We are not licensed to, and a calculator result is not a substitute for a professional who knows your circumstances. See our Disclaimer.
We also cannot control which advertisements appear on a page - those are selected by Google. If you see an ad that seems to breach Google’s policies, tell us and we will report it.
